Penn State Schuylkill opened up their 2018 season with a 6 to 4 win over Southern Maryland, at the Ripken Experience. Schuylkill used a 6-run third inning to take control of the game. John Toomey picked up the win for the Lions, Derrick Eberhart earned the save. Karlos Joseph lead the offense with a 2-3 performance. Dalton Hughes and Dakota Bitner each drove in a pair of runs.
