In game one, Schuylkill knotted the game up at 1-1, on Chris Kreider's rbi single. Schuylkill would take the lead when Karlos Joseph hit a 2-run homerun to extend the lead to 3-1. Hazleton would tie the game up in the fourth before Schuylkill would score 2 runs in the bottom half on Matt Robert RBI double and an RBI ground out by Kreider. Hazleton would make it interest by adding another run before Kyle Kaledas would come in relief of starting pitcher Steele Fekette and close the door to pick up the save. Fekette went 6.2 innings striking out 9.
In game two, Schuylkill was dominent as Derrick Eberhart would throw a two-hit shutout, the offense pounded out 10 runs on 13 hits for 10-0 win. Kreider and Roberts each homered, and Eberhart fanned 9.
