Schuylkill tops Greater Allegheny at the buzzer,69-67.

Penn State Schuylkill (3-4, 2-0) continues to look like a contender in the PSUAC, after topping PSU Greater Allegheny,  69-67. Schuylkill used its defense, to hold Greater Allegheny to 24 1st half points, and a diverse offensive attack to take a 32-24 halftime advantage. Earlier in the second half Schuylkill's advantage would be erased as Greater Allegheny would tie the game at 40-40. Schuylkill would push the lead back out to 8 points as the game reached the final five minutes at 65-57. Over the next 4 minutes Greater Allegheny would hold Schuylkill to 2 points tying the game on a pair of free throws at 67-67. A Schuylkill turnover on the next possession, gave Greater Allegheny a chance to that the lead but once again the Schuylkill defense stepped up forcing a shot clock violation and giving possesion with 16 seconds remaining. Schuylkill would go to Will Santiago to create their final opportunity as he found a wide open John Smith for a layup with under a second remaining. Greater Allegheny failed to get off their final attempt as the clock sounded, 69-67 Schuylkill wins.
