Jon Hummel joined Penn State Schuylkill in 2018. A Schuykill Haven High School product, Hummel enjoyed four years of varsity soccer. During his senior year, Hummel was a speaking captain and received All-Area Defensive Team Honorable Mention honors. After high school, Hummel went on to play intramural soccer at Wilkes University.

The 2021 PSUAC Coach of the Year, Hummel currently works at Evan’s Delivery in the Accounting Department and is a member of the Dart League. Hummel is married to his wife Ashley and has a 4-year-old son named Landon. In his spare time, Hummel does work around the house, plays in adult soccer tournaments, and tries to catch Manchester United games.
