Schuylkill opens PSUAC play with 9-6 win at PSU Brandywine.

Penn State Schuylkill Softball took to the field to open PSUAC play against the reigning 3-time conference champions, Penn State Brandywine. After falling behind early in game one 3-0 afer 1st, Marcella Scheeler got the Schuylkill offense started with a long homerun to right center. Brandywine would tack on two more run in the bottom of the second for the 5-1 advantage, Schuylkill would add 2 in the 3rd and tie the game at 5-5 in the 5th on a Steph Killian to left. Schuylkill would score 4 in the top of the 6th, 3 of which came in on Makenna Rushannon's bases clearing 2B. Rushannon would score on a single from Danielle Lilly to take 9-5 lead. Pitcher Hannah Sell would make the four-run lead stand up picking up her fourth win of the season.
