Lady Lions rally past Hazleton, 16-12.

After dropping the game one of the doubleheader, 1-0, Penn State Schuylkill found themselves trailing early in game 2, after two inning Hazleton lead 7-0.  In the top of the 3rd, Schuylkill's Danielle Lilly finally ignited the offense with a 2-run homerun. The score remain 7-2 Hazleton until Schuylkill's offense exploded in the top of the 4th. Schuylkill tallied 8 runs on 7 hits, the biggest being Stephanie Killian's game-tying two-run homerun. Each team would tack on a run in there next at bat before Hazleton catcher Erin Schmick would launch a grand slam to give Hazleton the 12-11 lead. Now trailing again Schuylkill would score 5 more runs in the top of the 6th taking a 16-12 lead. Schuylkill's Hannah Sell would come in to pick her first save of the season in relief of starter Cara Brennan who improved to 8-5 on the year.
