Penn State Schuylkill's Men's and Women's cross country teams participated in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, at Norlo Park.

Penn State Schuylkill's Men's and Women's cross country teams participated in the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference championship on Saturday, at Norlo Park.

 

Schuylkill's women's team placed 2nd, led by freshman, Alexis Luna, who covered the 6K course in 28:03. Sophomore Casey Renninger placed 6th, with a time of 30:05. Casey Gregory, a sophomore, placed 9th, in 33:20. All three women earned All-Conference honors. Sophomores, Justice Dimitro and Jodi Francis placed 16th and 17th, with times of 37:45 and 40:52 respectively.

 

On the men's side, Schuylkill placed 4th. Hunter Firing led the team, with a 13th place finish, running 33:17 on the 8K course, earning 2nd team All-Conference status. Brett Rushannon 18th, with a time of 35:52, followed by Tristan Dickey, 29th, in 38:24, and Josh White, 30th, in 38:25. Matt Renninger placed 32nd, with a time of 40:02. Augie Torres was 35th, in 43:48, and Vince May was 36th, with a time if 44:50.
