Schuylkill sweeps Wilkes-Barre in PSUAC opener.

Schuylkill sweeps PSUAC opening doubleheader with Wilkes-Barre. In game one, Schuylkill used strong start from pitcher Ryan King to hold down the visiting bats. King went 6 innings, striking out 6 allowing 4 runs, only 2 earned. At the plate, Schuylkill used 5 hits all singles, 5 walks and 5 Wilkes-Barre errors score the 9-6 victory. Gaetano Visconti, Boyer, Brett Kreiser, Billy Stokes, and Mackenzie Ney all had hits for Schuylkill.

In game two, Schuylkill dominated from the start scoring 9 first inning runs, on their way to 16-1 win. Senior, pitcher Ryan Boyer picked up the complete game victory allowing 5 hits and striking out 6. Schuylkill pounded out 15 hits including multi-hit games from Matt Roberts, Jesse Wenrick, Karlos Joseph, and Tyler Starry. Wenrick drove in 5 runs while going 3-for-3 in the game.
