SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Owen Zimmerman (Shoemakersville, PA / Hamburg Area High School) has been crowned the USCAA Baseball National Player of the Year for his outstanding play during the 2024 season.
Zimmerman's achievements include securing the second-highest batting average in the country at .471 and leading in doubles with 20. He also ranked among the top ten in several key batting categories, including sixth in total hits (65), eighth in RBIs (48), and third in on-base percentage (.553).
Tristian Baer (Hamburg, PA / Hamburg Area High School) was honored on the second team for his exceptional contributions on the mound. Baer led the country in wins (8) and complete games (8) and finished with the eighth-highest ERA (3.04) and WHIP (1.21) in the USCAA.
