Schuylkill Drops Two in Sunday USCAA Doubleheader Against Central Penn

Game Recap:
Penn State Schuylkill baseball battled but came up short in both ends of Sunday's USCAA doubleheader against Central Penn College at Blue Mountain High School.

In Game 1, Schuylkill erased an early 3-0 deficit with a four-run third inning, highlighted by an RBI single from Conner Licklider and a sacrifice fly by Brenan Adams. Central Penn responded with a three-run homer in the fifth and held off a late push from Schuylkill, taking a 7-5 win despite a multi-hit effort from Owen Shoop.

Game 2 saw Central Penn ride the arm of William Baker III, who tossed a complete-game shutout while allowing just five hits. Schuylkill's bats struggled to string together offense, while Central Penn capitalized on free passes and timely hitting to slowly build a 6-0 lead. Aidan Barner and Dominic Colon combined to cover the mound for Schuylkill, but eight walks and defensive miscues made the difference.
