Schuylkill Baseball Bounces Back with Shutout Win Over Scranton in PSUAC Play

Behind a balanced offensive attack and a commanding performance on the mound by Owen Shoop, Penn State Schuylkill rolled past PSU Scranton in a decisive 10-0 run-rule victory. The win moves Schuylkill to 10-1 in PSUAC play and 20-13 overall. Schuylkill scored in four of the six innings, taking advantage of five Scranton errors and timely hitting to pull away.

Brenan Adams led the offensive charge with 3 RBIs, including a two-run homer in the fourth inning, while Conner Licklider continued his strong form with a pair of hits, an RBI, a double, and two runs scored. Shoop tossed a complete-game shutout, allowing just three hits and striking out four in six efficient innings.

The second game of the doubleheader was postponed due to severe weather, with a makeup date to be announced.
