Penn State Schuylkill bounced back in Game 2 behind a complete game from Owen Zimmerman after dropping the opener, earning a series split with PSUAC foe Mont Alto.


Game 1 Recap – Mont Alto 8, Schuylkill 1

Mont Alto used a steady stream of offense in the middle innings and a complete game from starter Carter Fogal to take Game 3 of the series. Schuylkill managed just four hits and pushed across its only run in the final inning. Defensive miscues also contributed, with three errors helping Mont Alto extend innings.

In the series finale, Schuylkill put together a clean and aggressive performance. Owen Zimmerman was dominant on the mound, going the full 7 innings while allowing just four hits and one earned run. A four-run sixth inning, including a two-RBI single from Zimmerman himself, helped seal the win.
