Lions Fall in Defensive Battle at Immaculata

Lead-In: Despite racking up over 230 yards of total offense, Penn State Schuylkill fell 20-6 in a physical matchup under the lights at DWS Stadium.

In the opening game of Wednesday's tri-match, Penn State Schuylkill's flag football team showed heart and hustle but came up short against a stout Immaculata defense, falling 20-6 on the road. The defense held firm late, allowing zero points in the final quarter, highlighted by an interception from Nadia King and strong solo tackling from Sierra Wishnefsky.

A second game against Kean followed later in the evening and ended in a 40-14 loss for Schuylkill; however, an official recap will be provided once accurate box scores are available.
