Schuylkill opened PSUAC play in Pottsville's Martz Hall against PSU Hazleton for the second year in a row. Like last season Hazleton came away with the win. Hazleton used strong inside out play to control to game for 81-63 win.

Schuylkill's Derek Dimond led all scorers with 26 points and also had 12 rebounds, Benioko Harris scored 18 points in the game.
