STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's Golf competed against nine different commonwealth campuses in the PSUAC Blue Course Invitational at State College, PA.
Penn State Mont Alto secured first place in the event, concluding the day with a team score of 313. Three players—one each from Mont Alto, Penn State Hazleton, and Penn State Lehigh Valley—tied for the top individual score of 76.
Leading the way for Penn State Schuylkill was Adam Carroll (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Blue Mountain), who posted a score of 87. Rylen Matlock (New Philadelphia, PA / Pottsville Area) also scored in the 80s for Schuylkill finishing with a score of 88. The team finished in 9th place overall.
Schuylkill will travel to Penn State Hazleton on Monday, October 7th for their next matchup.
