BARNESVILLE, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Golf defeated Penn State Wilkes-Barre at the Mountain Valley Golf Course on Thursday, winning 364 to 400.
Rylen Matlock (New Philadelphia, PA / Pottsville Area) led Schuylkill with a score of 86. Branson Devitt (Auburn, PA / Blue Mountain) followed with a 91, Connor Licklider (Hamburg, PA / Hamburg) shot a 93, and Gavin Evitts (Auburn, PA / Schuylkill Haven) finished with a 94. The top score of the event came from Wilkes-Barre's Charlie Melvin, who posted an 80. John Burden was the only other Wilkes-Barre player to score in double digits, finishing with 98.
Schuylkill will compete in the PSUAC/USCAA Championships at State College, PA on Sunday, October 13th.
