Schuylkill falls in PSUAC opener.

Penn State Schuylkill hosted Penn State Scranton in the Penn State University Athletic Confernce opener. Scranton jumped out to and early 1-0 lead when cross from Chris Matute found teammate James Cole at the back post for the header into the back of the net.  

Schuylkill finally tied the score early in the second half as Kasey Krammes split two defendesr and stuck the ball past the diving Scranton goalie, Jarrod Arent.

The game would swing back and forth as the two teams would each have scoring chances. Scranton's Joseph Capooci broke into the open and chipped the ball past Schuylkill's Brad Fryer for the final tally of the game. 

Schuylkill (1-2, 0-1) is next in action Saturday, Sept. 12th at 4 PM vs. Williamson.
