Through one half of play Schuylkill had played Brandywine evenly, stopped on two scoring opportunities by great saves from Brandywine Pat O'Neil. Schuylkill regained composure after Brandywine scored in the opening minutes of the game.
Leading 1-0 at halftime, Brandywine poured on the attack scoring early and often tallying 9 second half goals. Including two in the final two minutes of the game. Brandywine outshot the Lions 31-4, including 16-0 second half shot advantage.
