SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill dropped their home matchup to NCAA Division III opponent Gwynedd Mercy, 6-1.

Gwynedd Mercy got on the scoreboard early at the 2:20 mark. They recorded 23 shots in the opening half, with four finding the back of the net. Schuylkill was the first to score in the second period as Zack Wilcox (Covington, PA / North-Penn Mansfield) put Schuylkill on the board at 65:10. Gwynedd Mercy answered four minutes later and netted the game's final goal at the 69:14 mark. Bryce Hensley (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Blue Mountain) finished with 27 saves at goal for Schuylkill.

Schuylkill will return to action on Tuesday as they travel to Penn College.
