SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's Soccer lost their home matchup on Friday to Lancaster Bible College (JV).
After missing three shots to open the game, Lancaster Bible broke the ice with their first goal at the 14:00 mark. Schuylkill responded by capitalizing on a David Monjaraz (Shenandoah, PA / Shenandoah Valley) save at the 33:14 mark, as Jake Moser (Pottstown, PA / Pottstown) set up Zack Wilcox (Covington, PA / North-Penn Mansfield) for Schuylkill's first goal just over a minute later. Wilcox stayed aggressive, attempting two more shots before the half. However, Lancaster Bible regained the lead, netting their second goal at the 38:29 mark just before halftime.
The second half belonged to Lancaster Bible, as they scored five additional goals. Lancaster Bible finished the game with 21 shots compared to Schuylkill's 11.
Schuylkill (0-5 overall, 0-0 PSUAC) will return home for their next game against Penn State New Kensington on Saturday, September 21st.
