Wilcox Nets Late Goal in Loss at Brandywine

Penn State Schuylkill men's soccer battled through adversity in Thursday's road matchup at NCAA Division III Penn State Brandywine, playing without starting goalkeeper Bryce Hensley (quad injury). Despite the challenge, the Lions stayed resilient, playing together and earning a late breakthrough when 2024–25 PSUAC Second Team honoree Zack Wilcox scored in the 87th minute off an assist from Jake Moser.

Brandywine controlled much of the match with 33 shots, ultimately earning a 5–1 victory. Schuylkill showed fight throughout, with David Hauer stepping in at keeper to make 11 saves on the day.

The Lions (0–2) return to action on Tuesday, September 10, when they travel to face NCAA Division III University of Valley Forge.
