Schuylkill struggles in home opener.

In their first action since March 10, the Lady Lions looked rusty.  St. Joseph's took an early 2-0 lead, but Schuylkill, freshman Erin Luckenbill hit solo homerun on the first pitch she saw cut the margin to 2-1.  It would remain a 2-1 game until St. Joseph's added 1 in the 5th and 2 in the 6th. Trailing 5-1 the Lady Lions would mount a comeback. Courtney Tyler singled and advanced to third on double off the fence by Luckenbill. Steph Killian doubled to drive in both runners. St. Joseph's scored two unearned runs on a error to make to final, 7-3.

In game two, once again St. Joseph's scored twice in the first. Trailing 2-0, senior Jena Leffer opened up the game with double to left center. Leffler would steal third and score on ground out by Tyler. For the rest of the game Schuylkill would be doomed by walks (4), hit batters (2) and errors (4). St. Joseph's would pile up 10 more runs taking the game 12-1.
