After three scorless innings, Schuylkill takes their first lead of the afternoon with a sacrifice fly to break the tie. Dominique Grosso's fly ball to right field scores Marcella Scheeler from third base. After Hazleton took a 2-1 lead, Erin Luckenbill's hit a towering home run over the fence to knot the score at 2-2. Still tied at 2-2, walks to Courtney Tyler and Luckenbill to start the seventh inning put two runners in scoring position after a sacrifice bunt by Steph Killian. With two outs, Kait Boyer drives in both runners with a two RBI single, vaulting Schuylkill in front 4-2. Hazleton would threaten but pitcher Cara Brennan would force a pair of infield pop ups to end the game with Schuylkill on top 4-3.
