Schuylkill Softball Dominates PSU Fayette in Saturday Sweep

Game 1 Recap:
Penn State Schuylkill opened Saturday's PSUAC doubleheader in dominant fashion, cruising to a 10-0 run-rule win over Penn State Fayette in five innings. Emma Crisswell was electric in the circle, tossing a one-hit shutout with 11 strikeouts. The offense exploded for nine runs over the third and fourth innings, highlighted by a bases-clearing triple from Mackenzie Carl and a three-run double from Keira Devor. Schuylkill played clean defense and aggressive on the basepaths, racking up six stolen bases in the win.

The bats stayed hot in Game 2 as Penn State Schuylkill rolled to a 14-4 victory, completing the sweep over PSU Fayette in another run-rule win. Keira Devor had a career day at the plate, blasting two home runs and totaling seven RBIs, including a three-run homer in the fifth to cap the scoring. Jade Weiss added a three-hit, four-RBI performance, including a three-run shot of her own. Kaely Walshaw went the distance in the circle, striking out seven over five innings of work.
