Softball Stays Perfect in Conference with Road Sweep at DuBois

Game 1 Recap: Schuylkill 4, DuBois 2 (8 innings)
In a dramatic extra-inning battle to open the doubleheader, Penn State Schuylkill rallied late to claim a 4-2 win. Scoreless through the first six frames, Schuylkill tied the game 1-1 in the seventh before breaking it open in the eighth with a three-run rally. Jade Weiss delivered an RBI single to give Schuylkill the lead, followed by a clutch two-run grounder by Mackenzie Carl that resulted in an error and plated two more. Pitcher Emma Crisswell went the distance with a gritty 8-inning performance, scattering five hits and striking out six.

Game 2 Recap: Schuylkill 10, DuBois 2 (5 innings)
The Schuylkill bats exploded in Game 2, scoring early and often to cruise to a 10-2 run-rule win in five innings. Keira Devor—coming off her PSUAC Hitter of the Week honors—stayed red hot with a home run, 3 RBIs, and two runs scored. Cealinn McGroarty tripled and scored twice, while Emma Crisswell added 3 RBIs of her own. Kaely Walshaw handled the pitching duties, allowing just four hits and two earned runs over five strong innings.
