HACKETTSTOWN, Nj, - Penn State Schuylkill Women's Soccer took on NCAA Division III opponent Centenary University on Wednesday, falling to Centenary 7-1.

Centenary got out to an early lead, scoring the first goal of the game four minutes into the contest. Centenary found the back of the net once again 19:49 minutes into the contest. This goal came after they had taken a total of five shots since their first goal.

Nancy Le (Harrisburg, PA / Central Dauphin East) connected with Zoe Gannon (Leesport, PA / Schuylkill Valley) for a goal at 25:52, bringing the score to 2-1 in favor of Centenary.

Centenary extended their lead to 4-1 after scoring back-to-back goals to begin the second period. Centenary scored a total of 5 goals in the final period as they went on to defeat Schuylkill.

Schuylkill (1-4 overall, 0-1 PSUAC) will take on Penn State Mont Alto on the road this Saturday. Start time for that matchup is 12:00 p.m.
