PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Cross Country placed 9^th overall at the Jack Saint Clair Memorial hosted by Jefferson University. Schuylkill finished with an average team time of 40:31 during the 6k race.

Two runners for Schuylkill placed in the top 50 overall. JiaYi Gong (Gordon, PA / North Schuylkill) led the pack for Schuylkill, crossing the finish line at 32:21.3, good for 42^nd place overall. Right behind Gong was Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / JFK Memorial), who placed 49^th overall with a time of 34:21.5. Also placing for Schuylkill was Nadia King (63^rd), Jasmine Wright (64^th), and Monet Edwards (71^st)

Schuylkill will compete in the Aubrey Shenk Invite hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday, October 14^th.
