LEBANON, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Women's Cross Country participated in the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen XC Invite (5k) this past weekend, finishing 18th overall.
The University of Scranton claimed first-place honors with a total time of 1:36:23, placing four runners in the top 15. The host school, Lebanon Valley, secured third place with a total time of 1:37:22.
Farangiz Kholmatova (Fergana, Uzbekistan / The Ministry of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan) was the first finisher for Schuylkill, crossing the line at 25:13.4 to place 148th overall. Malak Mowafi (Iselin, NJ / JFK Memorial) followed, finishing 160th with a time of 26:34.7.
As a team, Schuylkill recorded a total time of 2:36:32, with an average time of 31:18. They ended with a team score of 531.
Schuylkill will next compete at the Osprey Open hosted by Stockton College this Saturday.
