Schuylkill Haven, PA- Penn State Brandywine at Penn State Schuylkill

How It Happened

Penn State Schuylkill jumped out to an early lead with six points from Tajae Stevenson then Brandywine's first points of the night were scored on a three-point jump shot by Amanda Floyd. Brandywine stayed relatively quiet in the first quarter thanks to good defense by Schuylkill.

The second quarter was a different story, with Schuylkill trying to stay one step ahead of Brandywine's aggressive shooting. Brandywine accounted for five three-pointers in the quarter alone, but Schuylkill still held a five-point lead going into halftime, 36-31.

The third quarter was quiet for the nearly three minutes until Schuylkill's Alyssa Gerber made the first points off free throws. The third quarter ended 46-41, with few points scored.

The fourth quarter is when Schuylkill started to pull away, holding Brandywine to 10 points. Schuylkill secured the win, 64-51, over Brandywine in this PSUAC Quarterfinals matchup.
