How It Happened
Penn State Schuylkill's Nadia King led the way in the first quarter, scoring six points in the first two minutes, all while Schuylkill jumped ahead to a 16-point lead before Greater Allegheny scored their first points with 1:12 left in the quarter.
The second quarter saw Greater Allegheny get back on track after Isabella Vasquez made a three-pointer to pull within seven points. Schuylkill quickly answered by scoring eleven points in the final minutes of the quarter to secure a 17-point lead going into halftime.
In the third quarter, Schuylkill looked to add to their lead and they did just that, adding an additional 17 points to their total while Greater Allegheny only scored 10. The score was 54-30 with Schuylkill leading going into the fourth.
In the fourth quarter, Schuylkill looked to close out their dominant performance. Nadia King and Desiree Ellison added six points each to help secure the win against Greater Allegheny in the PSUAC Women's Basketball Playoffs semifinal matchup by a score of 77-42.
