Penn State Schuylkill posted a pair of 15-0 victories over Penn State Scranton. Schuylkill improves to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the PSUAC East Division.
How It Happened:
Game One
- Schuylkill scored 15 runs on 14 hits, including a 10-run second inning.
- Ashley Pentz and Makena Wong had 3 hits apiece, Pentz had a pair of doubles.
- Sierra Santarsiero tossed a no-hitter, striking out 7.
Game Two
- Meghan Stokes hit her first collegiate home-run, an inside-the-park grand slam.
- Alyssa Gerber went 3 for 3 with 3 RBIs.
- Scranton pitching surrendered 12 walks in the game.
- Schuylkill pitchers, Sierra Santarsiero and Melanie Torrales combined for a 2-hit shutout.
