After a back and forth game, Schuylkill led 87-85 with 34.4 seconds remaining. After the inbounds, Davis would create the turnover it needed, leading to a game-winning 3-point shot from Davis guard Kelvin Thompkins. Schuylkill final attempt would fall short, as the Lions fell to 0-4 on the season. Schuylkill was led by Kody Jacoby's 28 points, going 6-11 from 3-point range. Khari Thompson added 18 points, while  Schuylkill freshmen Lamonttea Brown scored 15 and William Santiago netted 13 points.
