Schuylkill Haven, PA

Schuylkill drops home opener to Washington Adventist, 78-55. After a back and forth 1st half, WAU took control of the game with a dominate 2nd half. WAU took a 31-28 lead into break but opened 2nd half on a 21-5 run and pushed the lead to as much as 29 points midway through the half.

It was a tough night for Schuylkill as only 3 players reached double figures, John Smith had 11 points and 15 rebounds, Khari Thompson knotted 10 points and Price Szeliga scored 11 points off the bench.

 

Schuylkill will travel to Eastern on Wednesday night before returning home to open up PSUAC play this Friday and Saturday.
