Men's Track & Field Begins 2024 Season With Ninth Place Finish

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Men's Track and Field began the 2024 outdoor season at the Purple and Gold Invitational hosted by West Chester University. Finishing 9th

Lamine Diop (Cincinnati, OH / Finneytown High School) participated in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing third overall with a time of 1:07.89. Ethan Jennings competed in the 100- and 200-meter events. Jennings placed seventh overall in the 200 with a time of 26.74.

Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville High School) and Aramis Rosario-Gonzalez (Columbia, MD / Glenelg County High School) made an appearance in the 5000-meter event, finishing in eight and ninth places, respectively. Deppisch crossed the finish line at 18.12.57 while Rosario-Gonzalez finished at 20:12.59. Deppisch also competed in the men's 1500 meters, finishing in seventeenth overall with a time of 4:34.09. Ivan Magny-Garcia finished the shot put at 5.65 meters.

Men's Track & Field will compete in the Ursinus Track and Field Festival at Ursinus College for their next event on Friday, April 5th.
