DUNMORE, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's Cross Country finished 1st overall at the 2023 PSUAC Invitational hosted by Penn State Scranton.
Schuylkill had a total of 4 runners crack the top 10 finishers for the event. Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville) completed the 8k race at 28:27.8, giving him the first-place nod. In second place was Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) who completed the course 5.3 seconds after Deppisch.
Rounding out the top 10 for Schuylkill was Ashton Owens (Pine Grove, PA / Pine Grove) who finished 4th overall with a time of 29:40.1 and Pau Pumarola (Barcelona, Spain / IMG Academy) who finished 10th overall at 32:26.5.
Men's Cross Country will travel to Lawrence, Kansas to compete in the 2023 NAIA Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship on Friday, November 3rd.
