LAWRENCE, Ks. – Following their first-place finish at the PSUAC Invitational, Penn State Schuylkill Men's Cross Country traveled to Lawrence, Kansas to compete in the 2023 NAIA Continental Athletic Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by Haskell Indian Nations University.

Schuylkill placed 5^th overall for the event with an average team time of 35:14. Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) completed the 8k course in 29:32.5 seconds, good for 13^th place overall for the event. Ashton Owens (Pine Grove, PA / Pine Grove) was the second Schuylkill runner to cross the finish line, placing 26^th overall with a time of 31:05.6. All Schuylkill runners placed in the top 50 for the event.
