Schuylkill closes season out with sweep of Valley Forge.

In their final games of the regular season, Penn State Schuylkill swept Valley Forge 15-3 and 18-8. In game one, scored 15 runs on 9 hits and 2 UVF errors. Steph Killian had a pair of home runs in the opener. Cara Brennan picked up her 14th win of the season, to lead all PSUAC pitchers.

In game two, Schuylkill bats stayed hot, pounding out 18 runs on 20 hits.  Three by senior shortstop Jena Leffler pushing her to the top of the All-time hits list, her 102 career hits passes the 99 tallied by Jess Klotunowitch 2005-08.

Schuylkill will next play in the PSUAC Tournament on Wednesday 3:00 PM at Oak Hall Park Boalsburg, PA. Schuylkill will enter the tournament as the #2 seed and play the winner of #3 Hazleton and #6 Beaver.
