In their third game of the USCAA Small College World Series, Penn State Schuylkill found themselves facing elimination versus the Mississippi University for Women (21-18). The Owls struck first as Schuylkill continued to struggle defensively early in games at the World Series. After allowing to runs in the 1st and 1 in the 2nd, the Lady Lions found themselves down 3-0 before they settled in. In the bottom of the third, Schuylkill finally got to MUW starting pitcher, Tiffany Phillips, the Lady Lions loaded the bases for Danielle Lilly who doubled down the left field line. With the score now 3-2, MUW went to the bullpen for ace, Cara Hopper, Hopper Struck out 11 batters over the final 4.2 innings holding the Lady Lions hitless, enroute to 6-2 victory and ending Schuylkill's season.

Makenna Rushannon broke school record for stolen bases in a season with 29 as well runs scored 52.
Erin Luckenbill became Schuylkill's All-time HR leader with (21).
Cara Brennan became Schuylkill All-time winnings pitcher at 48 career victories.
