Track and Field Competes in the Misericordia University Invitational

DALLAS, Pa. – Penn State Schuylkill Men's and Women's Track and Field competed in the Misericordia University Invitational on Friday. There was a total of eight teams competing in this event.

Nadia King (Harrisburg, PA / Susquehanna) competed in the Women's 100m, finishing with a time of 13.60 which was good for 8th overall for the event. King and Davionne-Michelle Belle (Philadelphia, PA / Paul Robeson) made an appearance in the Women 100m Hurdles and the Women Long Jump. King finished with a time of 18.13 during the 100m Hurdles which was good for 3rd place. Belle finished with a time of 21.87. King reached 4.62m during the Women Long Jump while Belle reached 3.99m. Belle also made an appearance in the Women Shot Put finals and finished at 7.22m

Pascal Deppisch (Danville, VT / Danville) and Matthew O (Schuylkill Haven, PA / Nativity BVM) represented Schuylkill in the Men 1500m. For the event, Deppisch finished with a time of 4:32.61 which was good for 8th overall. O's time of 4:48.46 placed him 13th overall. Deppisch also made an appearance in the Men 3000m Steeple while O made an appearance in the Men 5000m.

Men's and Women's Track and Field will compete in the Slippery Rock University Last Chance Meet on Friday, May 5th.
