WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Women's Track & Field competed in the Purple and Gold Invitational hosted by West Chester University, their first meet of the 2024 season.
Evelyn Louca (Westfield, PA / Cowanesque Valley High School) finished 5th overall in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:48.35. Also placing 5th overall in her event was Megan Hauser (Lehighton, PA / Lehighton Area High School) who completed the discus throw at 23.83 mark. JiaYi Gong (Ashland, PA / North Schuylkill High School) and Farangiz Kholmatova competed in the 1500-meter event. Gong finished 35th overall with a time of 7:02.16. Kholmatova crossed the finish line seconds after Gong at 7:21.90. good for 39th overall for the event.
Women's Track & Field will compete in the Ursinus Track and Field Festival at Ursinus College for their next event on Friday, April 5th.
